A Place To Call Home is contracted to provide Child Specific Recruitment for the Arizona Department of Economic Security’s Administration for Children, Youth and Families (ACYF) to assist the State of Arizona with placing available children in adoption certified homes. Children in the Child Specific Adoptions program have been referred to A Place To Call Home by ACYF. A brief profile of the children recruited for by A Place To Call Home are listed below. All children are legally free for adoption and are very excited by the idea of finding their “forever family”.

Child Specific Recruitment is commonly referred to as “reverse recruitment”, as the objective is to identify an adoptive home for the child versus identifying a child for an adoption certified home. Once a potential adoptive home has been identified for a child in the Child Specific Adoption program, A Place To Call Home provides the adoptive family’s profile and interests to ACYF for final approval. Once approved, ACYF and A Place To Call Home partner to coordinate and implement a plan to transition the child into the adoptive home. Keep in mind that may of these children are very special with their needs and are deserving of a permanent commitment.
