  About
Dorothy's Light was officially formed as a non-profit in April of 2009 to provide immediate living needs such as clothing, adaptive equipment, furniture, Christmas gifts, recreational activities and various supports to foster children and adults with special needs and disabilities in the community.

Through generous corporate and individual giving, Dorothy's Light was able to provide every child and adult in the care of an A Place To Call Home licensed or certified family with Christmas gifts at their 2009 and 2010 Annual Christmas Parties.

Additionally, in May of 2010, the Mesa office's May Foster Family Appreciation Picnic was almost completely underwritten by donations of goods and services to Dorothy's Light.
