Arizona Foster Care, Adoption and Respite Licensing

In order to provide foster care, adoption or respite services to children in foster care, children and adults with developmental disabilities or children with medically fragile conditions, families are required to become either licensed or certified. Licensed foster homes providing foster care to children or adults receive tax free financial assistance for the care they provide through A Place to Call Home.

A Place To Call Home takes great pride in our ability to license/certify homes within 8 to 12 weeks. In addition, all programs and services are offered in both English and Spanish.

When you join A Place To Call Home as a foster parent, an adoptive parent or as a respite provider, you will receive all licensing/certification training as well as assistance with meeting licensing/certification requirements from A Place To Call Home and our professional, attentive and caring staff.

In order to become and remain licensed or certified, much of the process involves the completion of a large amount of paperwork.  For your convenience, A Place To Call Home has posted a variety of the initial licensing documents electronically in the Resources section, under Forms.
